Just as I got there, a long narrow cloud had passed over the sun. I took a picture with the meter pointed at the clouds, but the sunlight was so intense it just blew out the bright spots. This is what happened when I set the meter to properly expose the bright spots. Tres cool. I think it was a shutter speed of, like, 1/6000th of a second or something.

Whoa, this is beautiful.
Yeah, that's something I could never do with the Canon. Of course, that's not nearly what it looked like to the eye.
