here at work, sure enough something else pops up. I was over in the Seasonal dept. helping Marcella stock bird supplies when I noticed this text on a box of hummingbird food mix:

That's just wrong on so many levels. For starters, how the hell do they know that it tastes great? Do they try sips of different brands for themselves?Does it mix well with rum, or something?
Also, they have 5 different flavors of suet cakes, the most puzzling of which is "Hot Pepper Delight". I can just see it now, some poor innocent little bird flies up, takes a few pecks, and starts flapping wildly because some asshole slipped hot sauce into its food and now its beak is on fire. Sounds more like a frat-boy prank than bird food to me. I dunno...
It's incredible what pet/animal food manufacturers come up with for marketing. The most they could usually say legitimately is "we gave them this, and they ate it".
Though Hummer's Choice - Tastes Great! is an advertising miracle if ever I saw one. Though the research for that claim would indeed not bear thinking about.
Am I correct in assuming that the comedic nature of the slogan was lost by those that replied to the original post? I mean, aren't we talking about blowjobs here?

Actually, yes, I meant that as a blowjob reference. Hence the maniacal laughter. Marcella got it after a few seconds too. She got a good kick out of it. :-)
