Armand, my ever-patient model and bestest-estest buddy. Pardon that this is ever so slightly out of focus, but it's such a great shot I couldn't not show it off. This is the first and last time that I get my photos processed at Kroger. The negs and prints came out fine, but their scanner fucked up the jpegs, leaving these horrible purple streaks. Jackasses.

Steff was right. Agfa film sucks ass. Look how horribly grainy it is.
You could always go to Walgreens. I know of a really great film tech in Texas who would process your film, print your pics, and burn you a cd all for free...but you must deliver the film in person. Maybe that will get you to come visit. ;)
Armand IS very handsome. Where did his name originate from?
I named Armand after one of my favorite vampires in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.
Texas, you make an offer I couldn't refuse. ;-)
you should convert that to black and white. it'd be fine. grain looks awesome in b&w.
yeah, i've NEVER understood agfa's reputation! where the fuck did that come from?
never met an agfa i liked.
but it's a nice shot. nice framing. the natural light makes the colour a bit bitchy, though, and that's just the way it goes. photoshop it to grayscale and make it contrasty, and it'd be really old-fashioned.
i think you'd be surprised at some of your composition in b&w. it can really show you what you're doing right when little things like grain or lighting are pissing you off.
besides, it looks fucking kick-ass. :)
nice batch, andy. i emailed you now. (see other comments first, though, and save the best for last. plot-pertinent, too.)
