Anyway... I've been so damned busy over the last few days, I've hardly had time to check my email. Here's a brief, grammatically incorrect rundown of the last few days:
1) Had orientation at OIP&T saturday. Got issued my books, Nikon D70s, and coolio sturdy tripod. Made point to talk to people. Was not wallflower. :-) Proud of self.
2) Today - group got together for an extracurricular meeting with one of the instuctors at Cox Arboretum in Dayton to practice with new cameras before classes start. Got several good photos. Will post them all later.
3) Wine tasting at L&V tonight (monday). Owner wants me there to talk about photos. Getting kinda nervous. Hoping no big hoopla or announcements are made. Still only think of self as "doofus with camera", not "hotshot photog".
(because, as we all know, to be a hotshot, you have to drop the "rapher" part)
4) Lots more, will 'splain later. Ok, you talked me into it. I'll hook you up with a taste of the (lo-res versions, of course) photos from the Cox outing. *snicker*
Cos I'm cool like that. :-) But seriously, I have to go to bed now. My eyes are starting to hurt.
But I'm still snickering over "Cox outing". :-)

Nan - Thank you! Unfortunately, there was hardly any turnout.
Barbara - Too bad I really don't like wine. It was more of a Bass Ale tasting for me. :-)
