So I decided to pull over in the parking lot to my right and play photojournalist, getting a few shots on foot. I walked around to all four corners of the intersection, and even took a few for the participants with their cameras, but they're on another roll. These ladies were very nice, and had no qualms about letting somebody take their picture. I assured them they were only going on a blog with a handful of readers, and they were eager to get their message out.

I can't decide whether I think this photo is almost a little sad or not. I mean, look at that lady's smile. She's having a ball, and in talking to her (and all the other people at the four corners of the intersection), they're mostly ex-hippies. I couldn't help but wonder, looking at that joyful grin, if she wasn't maybe re-living some glory days in her head.
Or maybe I'm just trying to extract drama from where it isn't really there.
