Do you notice anything unnatural about this picture? This is a blender we sell at work, and this picture is on the box. I must've walked past these things 5 million times. For some reason, today I glanced at them and burst out laughing. Luckily, the website had a jpeg of the picture that's on the boxes.

My one thougth on this blender:
Smootie my ass. A blender with a built-in tap? This thing is totally going to be used for maragritas and daiquaris. Smoothie. Give me a break. :-)
And maybe daiquiris too. Oops. Dictionary.com to the rescue.
Leaving aside the issue of a sea backing on to what looks like a patio, it's interesting that the fruit remained whole whilst maintaining a thick stream of puree...
These things sell well over here, I have seen them used for smoothies, but fear you may be right.
Is there anything better than throwing some fresh fruit and ice in a blender with a splash of Barbados rum?
Short of leaving out the rum, nothing. ;) (Not a drinker, anymore :S)
Though I recommend adding flower petals (or essence), or a sprig of mint.
