Quite right, it's one thing having a firm belief - it's quite another to ignore centuries of scientific revelation.
I heard today that because of the pretty incontravertible evidence for dinosaurs, that Noah's ark, containing two of everything, must've had dinosaurs on it as well.....
For the sake of .....
Faith in God, maybe.
Creationism and verbatim belief in the bible (a book that was edited and ghost-written many centuries after the events); sorry, but no.
