Amor Fou

That's it! Those are the words I'd been searching for to describe what draws me to the poem by e. e. cummings! Amor fou.

Bit hard to pin down. 'fou' is the french word for crazy, mad, wild.. amor is love obviously.

Good choice of phrase for that poem.

Garcia-s

I need to learn French. Lots of good literature/philosophy.

Plus couldn't hurt in attracting the opposite sex.

Amor fou translates literally to "crazy love", but I didn't make it up. It's a phrase used to describe the affection in a passionate, senseless (almost animalistic) tryst. You know, the type that gets you into trouble. ;-)
